WHAT TO EXPECT FROM FDM PRINTING
All files are professionally reviewed and prepared for printing to suit the geometry and intended use of the part. Print orientation, layer height, infill structure, and support strategy are selected to balance strength, dimensional stability, and surface quality.
FDM printing produces visible layer lines as part of the manufacturing process. For functional parts, this is typically acceptable and does not affect performance.
For cosmetic or display applications — such as props or presentation models — additional sanding, filling, or finishing may be required to achieve a smooth surface. If cosmetic finishing is important, let us know
MATERIALS & CAPABILITIES
MATERIAL
We currently print using a small, well-chosen range of materials to ensure consistent quality and reliable results.
- PLA – ideal for prototypes and cosmetic parts
- PET-G – tougher, more flexible, and moisture resistant
- ABS – suitable for higher-temperature and functional applications

By submitting files for printing, clients confirm they hold the necessary rights to reproduce the design. P3D Print does not assume responsibility for third-party intellectual property claims.
Files are reviewed prior to printing. Minor adjustments required to ensure printability may incur additional charges and will be agreed before production begins.
